Steven Tandberg, M.D.
Steven Tandberg, MD, is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with fellowship training in musculoskeletal radiology and specialized training in vein care, including a preceptorship with Alaska Vein Care. He has held academic appointments and leadership roles and contributed to peer-reviewed research and professional presentations in radiology and phlebology (vein care).
A caring vein care specialist, Dr. Tandberg focuses on patient-centered, image-guided treatments for venous disease, emphasizing comfort, clear communication, and individualized treatment plans to help relieve symptoms and support a better quality of life. His clinical approach blends technical expertise with compassion to ensure each patient receives attentive, evidence-based care.
Dr. Tandberg is married to an Alaskan and holds a deep love for the state and its people. He values Alaska’s strong sense of community and brings that same respect and commitment to every patient interaction and clinical setting.
