1. You, the patient, are allowed Time to go over any concerns or questions you may have regarding your treatment plan. Your Vein Doctor and Team will make sure you know exactly what is going on and that WE know exactly what is going on as well.

2. If you are feeling overly anxious about your upcoming procedure, our Specialists at Alaska Vein Care will be happy to prescribe you (the patient) a one-time dose of anxiety medicine to help you through your in-office treatment. Of course, we also ask that you have someone else drive you, should you opt to receive medication for nerves.

3. During your procedure, you will be offered a warm blanket and one of our iPads will be set up for you to either listen to your favorite music or watch your favorite movie or show. Whether you are watching Jane reject Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice or Jason Bourne jump off a five story building in Russia, the procedure will be done before you know it!

4. At Alaska Vein Care, our Physicians place almost as much importance on the “Aftercare” of a visit as they do on the actual care of the visit.
