Chronic Venous Insufficiency
Chronic Venous Insufficiency, or CVI for short, is when a faulty valve causes backflow into a tributary vein. In the vast majority of people with chronic swelling, pain, and/or varicose veins of the leg, the problem is solely superficial CVI. We can quickly determine if this is the cause with an ultrasound and provide painless, simple treatment for CVI in our office.
